The Tioga B has been
used throughout the U.K. by major dredging and civil engineering companies.
Her duties
have included:
- Survey and support duties;
- Crew and general service launch;
- Plough and bed levelling;
- Coastal towage;
- Push towing of barges.
The vessel, engines and electronics were completely overhauled in 1997. During 1999 an
uprated generator was fitted, a 12 ton winch and a 10 ton stern roller
added. In 2000 an additional 10 Kva generator and A 3 Ton forward winch
were added.
An 'A' frame and plough are available for the vessel and coupling winches for push
towing.
